MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD IN THE PARISH ROOMS ELVASTON STREET, DRAYCOTT ON TUESDAY 13 MARCH 2018 AT 7.30PM
BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE MEETING A MINUTES SILENCE WAS HELD IN MEMORY OF DAVID FREEMANTLE, A FORMER COUNCILLOR, WHO HAD RECENTLY PASSED AWAY

31/18. Dispensations – Dispensations had been requested and granted to all Councillors in respect of the Draycott Millennium Trust business.
32/18. Public Speaking –
Derbyshire Constabulary – PCSO Pykett had provided a written report detailing 1 crime and 3 ASB’s.
Derbyshire County Council – Cllr Parkinson had provided a written report. He also informed the meeting that a meeting with Officers from DCC would hopefully be held in the near future to discuss the suggestions made by Draycott PC for improvements to Sawley Road.
Erewash Borough Council – Cllr Clare reported on EBC events.
33/18. Minutes – RESOLVED to confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the meetings held on the 13 February 2018 and 13 March 2018.
34/18 To determine which items if any from Part 1 of the Agenda should be taken with the public excluded. – none
35/18 Chairman’s Announcements. – Councillor Clare read out a letter from Mr Moreton thanking the Parish Council for nominating him for the EBC Mayor’s Award.
36/18. Report of the Parish Clerk –
i)Appointments Committee – RESOLVED to note the decisions of the Appointments Committee at the meeting on the 13 March 2018.
ii) Risk Management Plan/assessments 2018 – RESOLVED to approve the documents.
iii) Annual Parish Meeting – 17 April 2018 7pm – RESOLVED to note the arrangements.
iv) Mobile Play equipment – RESOLVED to provide 2 sessions over the summer school holidays at a cost of £700 (G P of C).
v) Draycott Millennium Green – RESOLVED a) that maintenance works totalling £1070 be carried out before the end of June b) that works to the sundial and the provision and erection of a sign be considered by the Draycott Millennium Green Trust.
vi) EBC- Brass Band Concert – 1 July 2018 – RESOLVED to note that the Rolls Royce (Derby) Band will be performing.
vii) Draycott Village Fund – request to use the Playing Fields and Millennium Green for a ‘picnic in the park’ on the 10 June 2018 – RESOLVED to approve the request.

RESOLVED to note;
Request to meet with a representative of the Peak and Northern Footpath Society – that the Committee should offer to meet the representative at the Planning Committee meeting on the 10 April 2018.
